Chungpa Lee is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Statistics and Data Science at Yonsei University, where he is jointly advised by Professors Joseph H.T. Kim (Statistics) and Jy-yong Sohn (Machine Learning), and worked closely with Professor Kibok Lee. Early in his Ph.D., he spent two years at an early-stage startup led by Professors Jongho Im and Joseph Kim. From 2025 to 2026, he was a visiting researcher at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, working with Professor Kangwook Lee. Beginning in August 2026, he will be a student intern at the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering, University of Washington, working with Professor Sewoong Oh.
